This one sounds like it has a nice GUI, but is it expandable enough to be worth the install much less the usual cost in a category where there are many free alternatives? Is there anyone out there that knows this software well enough to speak for it's customizability and expandability.
A software should not be too limited in it's abilities, yet it should be compiled with other features that compliment it's core concept and general functionality. That is where having a user friendly and "intuitive" interface really helps.

After all, we are all inexperienced novices at any software until we learn to fully utilize it's full capabilities.
I don't like unnecessary complexities, I do like the option to customize software more and more as I learn it's capabilities. I can evaluate based on the evaluation of knowledgable peers. I wish I knew what it is today? One of the reasons I come here is because I do not need to evaluate a install/uninstall every piece of software. I trust the overall opinion of this forum. Presently this feature is only found in the main options menu. Suggestion for developers: 1) The 'New Task' window (which is the same as the 'Edit Task' window) should include a checkbox to make the task recurrant. It looks like this GAOTD will be just what I need. I've searched through many freeware programs over the years (very time consuming) and presently have been trying a few of the highly rated sticky note type softwares but they have been either too complicated thus inefficient, or unreliable if I make a mistake in settings for a particular entry. I spend at least 12 hours per day (and night) sitting at my computer and I really need a simple to use and very effective program like this. The Help Menu is well organized and easy/quick to read- I highly recommend reading it to quickly understand what functions and options are in the program. The pop up reminder with sound was very pleasant and very effective. I used it within the first half hour of installion to remind me to make an important phone call before that office closed for lunch. Their website describes this software as 'Simple and efficient' and 'Simple daily task list organizer' That is what I like about this program so far, "simple and efficient" it is not too complicated yet has the basic functions that I and perhaps most people need. I wish I had this program last month because I missed a rebate for an item I bought online. Now I don't have to be afraid I will forget something I have to do. And Wikis are cool to keep permanent information. Attempting to keep written lists is a joke. I have too much written information to use a calendar. I indent them 5 spaces so it looks neater on the printout.Īs you can see by all I do sticky notes would be a total mess on my desktop. The notes are very useful for additional information. I love the ability to add custom colors and fonts. Afterwards I can just delete the completed entries on my computer or add my new entries and start over. This means I don't have to keep going back and forth to my computer or drag around my laptop to find out what I have to do. I can then add any new tasks or ideas to the bottom or back of this sheet to add to the program later. The printout allows me to carry my tasks all over the house inside and outside, upstairs and downstairs and in the garage to check off and make notes on what I have completed. I can highlight each category on the printout in different colors by hand so I can easily see them. When I change it to landscape it immediately stretches across the entire page so I have an entire line for handwritten notes.

This wonderful program prints my tasks by catgegory of my choice (books, audio, movies, radio, TV shows, library, cooking, sewing, calls out, letters out, shopping, garden, household, rebates, bills, research, find, look, ideas, crafts, appointments, repairs, etc.) neatly in portrait or landscape. Most of the todo programs have really bad print outs.
